IBN24 Desk: Raipur (chhattisgarh) Reaffirming its commitment to a transparent recruitment system and youth empowerment, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday handed over appointment letters to 430 laboratory attendants selected under the Higher Education Department at a ceremony held at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University auditorium.
Congratulating the newly appointed candidates, Shri Sai said the government is fully committed to securing a bright future for the youth and has undertaken major reforms to ensure fair and transparent recruitment. He said steps like formation of the Department of Good Governance and Convergence and adoption of e-governance systems have helped curb corruption and improve accountability.
The Chief Minister said the probe into the previous PSC scam has been handed over to the CBI, sending a clear message that transparency and justice remain top priorities. He added that strict legal provisions have been put in place to prevent unfair practices in recruitment exams, further strengthening their credibility.
Shri Sai said efforts are underway to simplify recruitment through the formation of the Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board and implementation of a ‘fixed examination calendar’. He also highlighted that the state’s new industrial policy is creating more job opportunities for local youth in the private sector.
Calling upon the appointees to work with honesty and dedication, he urged them to actively contribute to building a developed Chhattisgarh.
Higher Education Minister Shri Tankaram Verma termed the recruitment a major achievement, stating that the process was conducted with full transparency and fairness. He said counselling was adopted to ensure transparency in postings as well.
To achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047, the younger generation will be crucial in driving Chhattisgarh’s growth and prosperity. The recent hiring of lab technicians and lab attendants clearly shows the government is actively working toward this goal, added Shri Verma.
On this occasion, Higher Education Department’s Secretary Dr S. Bharatidason and Commissioner Dr Santosh Dewangan congratulated the selected candidates and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities with full dedication and commitment.
