IBN24 Desk: Raipur (chhattisgarh) Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, and paid homage to Padma Vibhushan awardee and world-renowned Pandavani exponent Dr. Teejan Bai on Sunday.
He also met the bereaved family members and expressed his condolences.
Paying tribute, Shri Sai said that Dr Teejan Bai, through her extraordinary artistic dedication and exceptional talent, gave Pandavani a distinct global identity and brought immense pride to Chhattisgarh. He described her passing as an irreparable loss to the state’s folk traditions and cultural heritage.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
